On Tuesday se'nnight departed this life, in the 47th year of
his age, John Williams, Esq; purser of his Majesty's ship
Preston, after a very short illness; he was a gentleman
greatly beloved, by all who had the pleasure of his
acquaintance; he has left a disconsolate widow, and three
children, to regret the loss of an affectionate husband and
tender parent.
Ye shady grottoes, and ye gay alcoves
Ye soft retreats, and love enchanting groves;
